CEO Profile

Hans-Hermann Mohr is CEO of SENATOR LINES since July 2002.

After years of commercial practise as trained export trader, he joined the German forwarding company Schenker. Starting at the sales office Hamburg, he later on went abroad to work for Schenker Africa and, following his return home, took on the responsibility for the Middle East region in the capacity of Project Manager.
He had his first assignment in shipping industry when moving to the ocean carrier Seatrain Lines as Branch Manager.
Hans-Hermann Mohr was one of the founders of Contship Container Lines Germany in 1980. In the initial phase he was responsible for Marketing & Sales in Germany, Austria, Eastern Europe and Scandinavia. As Managing Director he led Contship for a total of 18 years.
After the sales of Contship to CP-group he extended his experience as Managing Director of a German container terminal.
Prior to his appointment as CEO by the shareholders of SENATOR LINES, he was Assistant Managing Director of Hanjin Europe.
