Senator picks up leftovers
Senator Lines is running a one off Asia-Middle East service to pick up cargo left behind because other vessels are full.
The “extra loader” service will depart Singapore on 9 October, using Hanjin’s 1939teu Northern Fortune, which will return to its normal route after the run.
Senator CEO Hans-Hermann Mohr said: “The extra loader is an excellent way of promptly reacting to market developments and matching additional shipping capacity with cargo volumes which normally peak during the autumn. By offering this enhanced flexibility on one of the routes in demand, we can continue to maintain a high level of customer service to our export shippers.”
Northern Fortune will have a rotation of Singapore, Pusan, Shanghai, Chiwan, Singapore, Port Kelang, Khorfakkan, Karachi, Port Keland and Singapore.
