Senator Lines About to Phase in New Mediterranean-Canada Service Vessel
Bremen (Germany)-based Senator Lines will phase in a new vessel on its two-sling Mediterranean-Canada service (MCS) on 21 May. The recently chartered 2,130 teu "Montreal Senator" will replace the 2,017 teu "Canada Senator" currently operated on the service linking Mediterranean ports with Montreal.
The new ship has initially been chartered for a period of two years. Mark Ehlers, director operational management, said “the increased vessel size of 2,130 teu, and the better speed capability of 20 knots, will increase the service quality of our Mediterranean-Canada link.” http://www.senatorlines.com
